English Walnut Diner

This beautiful English Walnut coffee table measures 59.75 x 28..5 , it's Gorgeous in person! The walnut for this is a rare piece as it has come out of an old Walnut groves in California. The beautiful grain is from the way the branches are trimmed which causes the knotty features, It also includes Tiger stripes, a little Burl and some Curly Walnut. It's lightly aged 30 to 40 years old. The surrounding transparent resin is clear with a very light black tint. The wood is finished with a natural matte liquid hard wax, the resin is polished out to a high gloss. The live edges present on the table were preserved, only lightly touched so to preserve their natural appearance. The leg base known as a "Spider" design, was fashioned for this specific piece so that it casts off a floating effect, not having any of its landings in the resin areas.
